About the Job
Boomtown Therapy, LLC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct speech and language therapy to students attending private schools. We will also consider a Clinical Fellow or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for this role.
This is a therapy-only position. No evaluations or IEP/ISP meetings are required. It’s an opportunity to focus on working directly with students, building relationships with school staff, and helping children make meaningful progress in their communication skills.
Position overview:
- Provide speech and language therapy to an anticipated caseload of approximately 50 students.
- Travel to assigned private school campuses to deliver services.
- Plan engaging, individualized sessions based on students’ therapy needs and goals.
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress records.
- Communicate professionally with the supervising SLP, school contacts, and families as appropriate.
- Coordinate scheduling across assigned campuses.
Qualifications:
- SLP applicants: Must hold an active Texas SLP license and be able to independently provide therapy services.
- CF SLP applicants: Clinical Fellowship SLPs will be considered and must be eligible for the appropriate Texas license and required supervision.
- SLPA applicants: Must hold an active Texas SLPA license and provide services under the supervision of a licensed SLP, within the scope of the SLPA role.
- All applicants should be organized, dependable, comfortable traveling between campuses, and able to build positive working relationships with students and school teams. Experience with school-aged children is preferred.
