About the Job
Boomtown Therapy, LLC is hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech and language therapy in a school setting. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with students, brings creativity to therapy sessions, and communicates well with their supervising SLP and school team.
What you’ll do:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students under the direction and supervision of your assigned SLP.
- Plan and lead engaging therapy activities that support students’ goals.
- Complete timely, accurate session documentation and progress notes.
- Track student progress and share observations with your supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students during the school day.
- Manage your therapy schedule and maintain organized student records.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license.
- Ability to provide services within the SLPA scope of practice and follow the direction of an assigned supervising SLP.
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills.
- A dependable, student-centered approach to school-based therapy.
